The premier Irish-UK collaborative manufacturing event, Manufacturing Solutions Ireland 2025, is set to return to the Technological University of the Shannon (TUS) on June 11th and 12th, 2025.

Hosted at the state-of-the-art Coonagh Cross Campus in Limerick, this year's event promises to be the most expansive yet, featuring over 120 exhibitors and a series of insightful conferences addressing the latest trends and challenges in the manufacturing sector.​

Organised jointly by the UK-based trade association GTMA and TUS, Manufacturing Solutions Ireland has been a cornerstone event since its inception in 2016, fostering collaboration between businesses from Ireland, the UK, and beyond. The event serves as a conduit for the transfer of technology from specialist suppliers to the practical industrial landscape, providing attendees with a competitive business advantage.​

This year, the exhibition floor will host an impressive lineup of leading technology suppliers, showcasing advancements in precision engineering, rapid product development, toolmaking, tooling technologies, metrology, and other critical manufacturing-related products and services.

The Technical Demonstration zone will feature de mo’s from Mills CNC, Hurco, Starrag, ETG Ireland, Team Air Power, HAAS, TLM & FOBA Laser, DG Systems/ Haitian International and Zeiss.

The diverse range of exhibitors underscores the event's commitment to embracing technology, procurement, and supply chain initiatives across various market sectors, from aerospace and automotive to medical and marine.​

In addition to the exhibition, Manufacturing Solutions Ireland 2025 will feature a series of conferences and panel discussions, showcasing expert speakers from industry who will provide delegates with valuable insights into the future of manufacturing.

DAVID ASKEW – Manufacturing Engineer, Rolls-Royce

PRESENTATION –  Bridging the Chasm – Delivering Tooling Automation from Innovation to Implementation

David Askew is the Skill Owner for Manufacturing Tooling at Rolls-Royce plc, working with academia and industry to develop and adopt best in class tooling technology to innovate manufacture and assembly of Civil Aerospace gas turbines.

Bob Barton, Process Innovations Manager at Bespak, will present on Toolmaking Requirements for Medical Device Moulding, sharing his expertise in mould tooling and design for manufacture.

Quentin Willson, a well-known motoring personality, TV presenter, and founder of FairCharge, will discuss Manufacturing Opportunities for UK Electric Vehicle Batteries and Components, offering insights into the growing role of electric vehicle manufacturing.

The event will take place at TUS's Coonagh Cross Campus, a facility that offers new state-of-the-art engineering facilities, learning, teaching, and research spaces, as well as services to industry and student and staff amenities.
