The company, which provides civil engineering design, construction management, and environmental services to developers of infrastructure projects, was established in 2014 and has offices in Naas, Co. Kildare, and Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork.

Achieving CPD Employer Accreditation

The CPD Accredited Employer Standard is designed to help organisations improve the competence of their engineers, developing employees who are agile and adaptable, creating a workforce that is encouraged to create and innovate, and develop new solutions. Organisations that have achieved the Standard find they are better placed to deal with business change and disruption, while also being capable of attracting and retaining better workforce talent.

Clandillon Civil Consulting’s Commitment to Continuous Learning

To achieve the Standard, Clandillon Civil Consulting demonstrated a strong commitment to continuing professional development by actively investing in training, upskilling initiatives, and supporting staff in achieving professional excellence.

Recognition of Professional Excellence

Speaking following the award of the Standard, Seán FitzSimons, Director at Clandillon Civil Consulting, said: “Clandillon Civil Consulting is proud to have achieved CPD Employer Accreditation, a recognition of our commitment to continuous learning, professional excellence, and the development of our people.”

Expanding Talent and Mentorship

Further demonstrating its ongoing commitment to CPD, the organisation welcomed two apprentices in September 2024. “We are proud to integrate this role into our employee structure, strengthening our existing team while training and mentoring new talent.”

Engaging with the Next Generation of Engineers

With a company culture focused on supporting future engineering talent, the organisation took part in Engineers Ireland’s STEPS outreach programme. “As part of our commitment to inspiring the next generation, Clandillon Civil Consulting engaged with students at three school events during STEPS Engineers Week 2025.”

Continued Commitment to CPD and Employee Development

Damien Owens, Director General of Engineers Ireland, commented: “Clandillon Civil Consulting’s dedication to advancing its team's knowledge and expertise ensures that it stands amongst the best engineering firms in Ireland in continuing professional development of its people. The company now joins over 170 engineering organisations that have been awarded the Engineers Ireland CPD Accredited Employer Standard.”
